What is FYDO?

Every application has to have some fine print. We at least tried to bump up the font size on ours–just for you.

  • If your organization is selected as a finalist, you will be asked to provide a copy of your 501(c)3 determination letter.
  • Please consult your current marketing agency to confirm whether or not you would be contractually prohibited from participating in FORGE Your Dot Org.
  • The selected organization will receive pro bono marketing and creative services only. A budget may be necessary to cover any production costs, including printing, stock photography, web hosting, etc. However, we will work with the selected organization’s allocated budget and provide the ability to approve or deny any costs prior to procurement.
  • Prior to beginning work, FORGE will meet with the selected organization to discuss a timeline and project plan, and to provide any requested background information about our organization.
  • The scope of work to be completed by FORGE will be outlined in a written contract (not to exceed a value of $50,000), agreed upon and signed by both parties, and your application in no way serves as a contract of services.
  • Any pro bono creative agreement, between FORGE and the selected organization, will end on December 31 of 2011.
  • The selected organization will need to sign off on a creative strategy, and supply other requested material or information throughout the creative process, understanding that this information will form the basis upon which FORGE will produce work.
  • If selected, your organization should plan to provide ample staff and/or volunteers toward projects and maintain communication with FORGE throughout the duration of the agreement.
  • All work completed is the property of FORGE and any third parties that contribute to the project such as photographers, illustrators, etc.
  • FORGE reserves the right to put the FORGE logo on any work that is completed and to use any creative work for promotional reasons, at their own discretion.
  • Any organization who submits an application may be listed as an applicant at www.FORGEyour.org
